Our Burning Platform
Socio-economic deficiencies represent the undeniable harsh realities of our society, whether it's minority small business owners who lack access to capital to grow their businesses, S.T.E.M. deficits in communities of color, or affordable housing, the reality is, these systemic problems limit upward mobility for the most vulnerable in our communities.  Due to the sheer size and complexity of these problems, we believe that creative and innovative solutions are required to make a meaningful impact. No one entity can solve all of these issues on their own. At SoCal CDC, we value our community partners who share our commitment and mutual goals of empowering communities. We therefore partner with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, faith and civic leaders, and other individuals and organizations that want to make a transformational difference in the lives of others. SoCal CDC provides relevant programs and initiatives that meet these critical needs. Our approach is unique in two important ways; 1) We provide world-class programs and services with a standard of excellence typically only found in expensive, "for-profit" products and services. 2) We operate on the "manage by fact" principle which guides all of our work ensuring that all programs have measurable goals that are tracked and documented over time to ensure we achieve real impact and successful outcomes.
